Of course, the object of propaganda is to depict your enemy as less than human.....I believe they hit the mark with this one....very scary poster ....Tojo is almost Pig like.....Original, US Government printing office....1943........26 1/2 X 32 1/2.....have only seen one other example of this poster.....$795.00

7th War Loan.....Most famous of all the War Loan posters.....Iwo Jima...1945...Original poster from US government printing office...matted and shrink wrapped...21 X 29....offered at $375.00

This is the one that's in all the books.....cf.Sam Keen's "Faces of the Enemy"....the Granddaddy of Propaganda Posters...."This is the ENEMY"....So simple yet it's effect is like a kick in the stomach.....This has been called the perfect propaganda poster because is achieves the desired effect, instantly obliterating any doubt or gray area, completely dehumanizing the enemy, declaring them devoid of all things Godly, and instilling determination in all GOOD people that NOTHING will be spared to destroy this evil..........Original poster....US Government printing office....1942.....very scarce large size, 25 X 33....mattted and framed....all archival materials.......offered at $1,500.00

6th War loan poster....Original....US Government Printing Office...... 1944....33 X 44..........matted and framed...... all archival materials.....amazing that the bomb on the left side is quite similar to "Fat Man" and Little Boy" the two atomic bombs dropped nearly 18 months after this poster was printed.....the look on the soldier's face is the perfect mix of anger, horror and determination to finish the job...... a very moving poster....raised quite a bit of money for the war effort!!....Offered at $395.00.

Very disturbing image here.....this poster has offended more people than any other I've seen.....at first I thought that people were just being dramatic...then I wondered if I had morphed into the middle of an opera....finally I asked a woman who was upset, what, exactly she objected to.  She told me that to have the final words of the Lord's Prayer in the same visual space as a swastika was more than she could take.  I thought it quite appropriate(.......forgive my revisionist editorializing.....) that if Jesus wasn't referring to National Socialism as "evil"....who, exactly, was He saving it for????.......anyway, I told the woman my own theory about Nazis...the ONLY reason the Axis forces did not win the Second World War, was because God did not want them to......no doubt due to the many millions repeating those same words across the face of the earth, almost without pause during those dark days..........Original.......US Government Printing office....... 1943.....matted and shrink wrapped....14 X 17........$325.00
