Wondeful reminder of how we used to do things before the electronic age. Vintage and fabulous electric timer. Made by Ansonia Clock company, the TORK clock was used for decades....this model is from the 1920's. What a story!!! Vintage and handmade..this beautiful safe came to the United States from England...(West Bromwich is west of Birmingham) circa 1870. It was delivered to the Wells Fargo Stage Line office in Western Montana where I found it in what had become a trucking company. Bought it immediately along with a padlock from the stage coach money box that was inside. Beautiful brass appointments....two sets of keys...inner lockable drawer...it's all there. I will be happy to provide dimensions, weight, additional scans....just ask!....offered at $1500.00 |
| Very hard to find Kreigsmarine wool/leather coverall. For use in the engine room of World War II U-Boats.....also used late in the war for pilots flying the Messerschmidt Jet Plane. Some damage to zippers on legs...these are the originals!! torso zipper is functional...should fit someone 5'6 to about 5'8.. Very nice custom labels shows maker and date...looks like 1943. Overall a very nice find in very nice condition.....would be a great gift for a biker!!!..$1,000.00

THE SUN ALSO RISES.......although it could also be titled...."the Tequila Sunrises"...a lot of drinking going on here folks....Hemingway spends more time talking about what everyone's drinking than anything else......anyway even though the novel comes off as sophomoric and INCREDIBLY boring/repetitive this is still a valuable book........1st Edition/2nd printing with facsimile dust jacket...there is a small chip missing on the spine label and there are period correct newspaper reviews of the book from 1926 and a picture of a young Ernie.
