BigAssTools
Assortment of very well made AMERICAN tools; most from the 19th or early 20th century.  Remember when we used to actually make stuff here in this country?? Well this is some of it.  Lately Vintage tool prices have gone through the roof.  This is partially due to the fact that nearly all tools are currently made in China and simply don't last!!!  So, for a fraction of the price of what you pay for new, you can buy a tool that was made to last and will NOT break on you in the middle of a job.  We ALWAYS buy tools and therefore always have a nice selection to sell.  If you are looking for something special or you see something in the picture that you want, just call me......besides the visuals on these tools are just STUNNING!!

Very nice Peter Wright Anvil circa 1860-1870 made in England...true tone throughout.....100lbs...two hardy's.....material cutter....prongs....hammer on an vintage oak stump.....pick up only......offered at $475.00 for everything....
Various and sundry pipe wrenches......Trimco...Dunlap.....Keen Kutter....Wilson......prices range from $10--$35....call if you see one you need or just let us know what to look out for....we will!!
Near mint example of early 20th century technology.......very nice Craftsman Power Hacksaw.....will cut 4" stock with a 12 X 1 X .075 blade!!   New package of "Hackmaster" blades included so you will never run out.  This saw has a 1/4 HP DELCO motor with an auto shut-off feature that works in a blink of an eye....not bad for the 1930"s....comes with a support stand (27" high) to get the work at waist height....It also has a beautiful solid brass oiler on the top of the slide frame....would look pretty sweet all polished up....buy for your collection or for your shop.....perfect working order.......offered at........$460.00
EXTREME Deco compressor here.......Early 30's Mongomery Ward Compressor with the "Streamlined" look that was just the craze...this looks like the 20th Century Limited Streamline train that ran from Chicago to Los Angeles in the early 30's.....powered by a 1/4 HP Craftsman motor.....vintage but perfect brass hardware and hose with air blower attachment.....the only new item is the brass quick disconnect....offered at ....$295.00
Excellently restored and perfectly functioning "Hay Trolley".  For the uninformed, which I was until I saw this, a hay trolley allows you to hoist two bales of hay from ground level up 40 or 50 feet to the top of the barn through a large door.  Then, it allows you to walk this very heavy bundle the entire length of the barn and stack it in exactly the place you want......pretty nifty. Comes with the pulley disconnect.....  Of course you need the rail system to mount this on but that will be appearing soon......offered at ...........$175.00
I'm not joking here!........circa 1870 an authentic "ACME" leg vise.  Perfect working condition.  This vise was a must for any blacksmith.  The smith could place his work in the vise and hammer all day long without damaging anything!!  Why?? Because the leg carried all the impact and vibration into the ground and did not allow any of it back up the leg.  This eliminated harmonic distortion that would place stress on metal and cause failure.......think of it this way...it's the same reason that soldiers do NOT march in cadence across a bridge....they walk.   Anyway, more info that you really wanted right?  The vise has no flaws...it is nearly perfect after all these years....6" opening of the jaws...5 1/2 jaw width....overall weight 65 lbs..screw has NO chips or cracks and cinches up nicely.  Jaws close perfectly and squarely.....has all correct markings.......combine this with our "ACME" anvil...and you're all set to hunt roadrunners!!!   Offered at $275.00...flawed versions have been selling on Ebay for $350.00 plus shipping!!!   Buy one that is Mint!!!
